John McElhinney & Co., Chartered Accountants, Dublin was formed in 1961 by John M. McElhinney. It is one of the older established family firms of Chartered Accountants in Dublin. The current partnership of John A. McElhinney BA, FCA and John J. McElhinney MIATI, MIB, QFA, ACA maintains the firm's tradition of quality service. Both are members of Chartered Accountants Ireland.
For three generations the firm has been providing key services that include audit and accountancy, tax planning and consultancy, management consultancy, financial services and company secretarial.
While we serve the market with a full range of core services, our specialities are the valuation of unquoted shares for either tax or commercial purposes and property investment advice.
In order to expand the level and range of services offered to clients, the firm merged with Patrick J. Monahan & Co., Chartered Accountants in December 2001.
The firm recently received the "Excellence in Training Award" from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.
